CLEMENT SABBAGH
EXPERT INSTRUCTOR
Clement is a 2nd generation gemstone miner, cutter and wholesaler. Clement's father and uncle began the business family in 1961, they also started the Brazil Gem Safari. Clement lived in Israel for 3 years and specialized as an Emerald cutter. He became a Graduate Gemologist in 1986 and graduated with a degree in Business Administration in 1991.
SAM SABBAGH
EXPERT INSTRUCTOR
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Sam is a 2nd generation in mining, cutting and trading Brazilian gemstones. A G.I.A. Graduate Gemologist since 1987. He currently sits on the Executive Board of the Brazilian Institute of Gems and Precious Metals. Sam is participating of the Brazil Gem Safari since 1980
him and Clement are expert instructors in this mine tour.
VICTOR B. SABBAGH
ASSISTANT
His Gemstones adventure began at the tender age of 13 when his grandfather asked the employees of the family’s gemstone processing factory in Governador Valadares, to teach Victor how to cut and polish gemstones. In 2002 he began to work in the family’s gemstone business becoming the 3rd generation in the family to do so.
